Let me start off by stating that's it is the student who makes their education and not the school. Charter College is a convenient private college to help those pursuing their education and everyone deserves one.

With that said, schools should be an inviting comfortable learning environment. However, recently Charter College has not been that. I have had instructors who have made me see and learn the potential I have and for that I respect them and cherish them, but I have more recently experienced mismanagement, lack of consistency in education, and the most rude display of administrative behavior. Its no secret that the Canyon Country campus is plagued with favoritism, nepotism, and a blatant display of egotistic neurotic behavior by the parade of top management that is getting parade through the school.

No hellos or I am the new administrator BLAH BLAH BLAH.....this negative behavior had trickled down to some of the instructors who are all subjected to this behavior just like the students. I personally can't believe this school can even maintain licensing and credentialing, I wouldn't be surprised if the campus closes or scales back due to their unstructured administrative organizational structure. The school has no plan, how can their educate if they can maintain their management. Stop parading the Napoleons and tacky managers.

Stakeholders and shareholders should reconsider their interest in Charter College. I hate see some if these wonderful instructors leave, but until this college corrects itself, no one should be subjected to this unprofessional environment.

You should contact the US Department of Education OIG hotline at 1-800-MIS-USED (1-80*-***-****) and report your experience. The more people who expose the truth about the academic improprieties at this college the more likely the Department will be to take effective action.

I know many students and employees from Charter College read these boards. Unless you stand up and report what you know you're just as guilty.

As a former graduate of charter college Oct of 2012 to be exact of their pharmacy tech AAS program totally agree that Charter is a major rip off,i should have done further research before being scammed into doing these program, the local adult school offers the same program for about $28,000 less then this sorry excuse for a school. Im now 30 grand in debt no job no diploma no pharmacy tech license becuase the school some how lost my paper work to send to the state board of pharmacy.

i have been given the run around for about a year now in regards to my license. theirs no communication with their staff and about to take legal action and get my self legal help.

I have seen many good Instructors and other employees fired for no good reason over the past couple of years. Charter's business model is for profit and there is nothing wrong with that as long as you provide quality education and customer support.

Charter lacks in both areas. Pushing students to online classes and lack of hands on training has reduced the quality of education the students are getting. The certificate program is a joke with little or no job placement in all programs with the exception of the HVAC program. The HVAC program is top notch and has very high placement rates.

I feel sorry for students that accumilate seriously large loans that will be hard to repay. I hope the students are able to get together so they can file a class action suit to get some resolve. My experience was only with the Pasco location but I must guess the other locations are similar Mike Dawson has built a business that seems to lack the initiative to provide a good product. I have spocken with some employers from the area and they are not impressed with the graduates they are seeing from Charter's programs.

I was once part of the Charter team and really did not understand how bad the situations was but now I'm ashamed I was part of Charter. Please reconsider attending or working for Charter.

It is well known in the Pacific Northwest that Charter is a complete and total edu-scam. I find it interesting that there are Charter reps on all of these consumer advocacy sites right there to try to resolve their student's issues....now that they're complaining in public. Charter is not a "private" school, it is a FOR PROFIT school. They are NOT regionally accredited, and I don't care what type of explanation is offered for this, the bottom line is that they're charging an arm and a leg for no tangible reward or legitimate degree. Their claims of "convenience" are utterly ridiculous and untrue. Education takes time, and many options are available.

You can get a fully transferable education in any of the programs listed as being offered by Charter simply by applying to your local community college, and your credits will transfer to a University, too, should you choose to go on; in WA, your tuition per quarter will be less than 1/3 of what Charter charges. Not only that, but there are tons of Pell grants, state need grants, Stafford loans and Perkins loans as well as other government-funded aid opportunities that are certified by legitimate financial aid offices at all regionally accredited public and private colleges and Universities -- your financial aid should be administered by filling out a FAFSA via the EDU website and meeting with a financial aid advisor not by some car salesmen in the back office of a strip mall.

I think it is unconscionable that Charter specifically preys on individuals who are trying to get their lives together by earning a trade certification to better their career opportunities; these are the same individuals who are probably not familiar with the intricacies of the higher education system - vulnerable populations that are seeking any opportunity to better themselves. It is unbelievable to me that Charter and other schools like it can operate in this manner and yet sleep at night. To the poster who is planning a class action suit, I wish you the best and hope that it is successful for you.

To be clear, I was here for another reason, I do not work for any college, but I DID return to school at age 35 to change careers and have been through the process. I have seen too many people in the community I serve scammed by this organization and who are now deeply in debt with nothing to show for it.

If you are considering going back to school, do it -- it's possible -- but start at your local community college; most have online/distance programs as well if you have transportation or schedule issues. Do your research and be a smart consumer...and best of luck pursuing your dreams. Just don't sell them to Charter and wind up going backward instead of forward.

I had graduated from charter college last year as a pharm tech and till this day i've not landed on a job. Charter college always wants you to seem like they will get yoy a job, strive to look for one etc but all they really want is the money.

All they are after is the money. Will def not recommend this place

Well, This was the course I was looking at, however, after reading "Brandi" duplication responses and reviews it appears that Charter is a highly greed-driven "school" and I should look at another opportunity. Thank you for being so honest.....and "Brandi"..brush up on developing more diversified "pat on the head" comments....

I think charter college is monitoring this website..people who have experienced negativity with this college and voice it there seems to be a charter representative right there to counter the claims. Interesting.

Some instructors bullied students. Some instructors told bold face lies about students.

Charter college should be shut down Now. I'm telling all I can to never go to charter college.
