Is there anyone who has filed a lawsuit or is planning on doing so? I need to know who to contact and what to do.

please email me, katiesue2009@***.com. I had good faith in this school, and once I graduated (4.0, deans list, etc) I was getting job leads for jobs that were 60+ miles away, at 10.00 when I could have stayed with my current job. I'm paying for a degree that I don't have a job in and I had very little help in finding a job, this school was a rip off and a horrible decision, I've lost a lot of money and I still have a loan that I cannot afford to pay off for a degree I'm not using.

If anybody has any info as to what to do, please email me. Thank you.

Reason of review: Rip off.

Monetary Loss: $15000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Charter College Cons: Waste of money and time.

Location: Canyon Country, California

I would join this too. 13k in student loans, 10k in debt sold to a collection agency with absolutely NOTHING to show for it. LBC is closed, I never even got a copy of my certificate.

I too would like to file a lawsuit with this school. I owe over $40,000 in loans plus a $1500 loan via the school itself.

I have obtained an Associate's degree via the school and nothing to show for with the degree I earned. Charter College claims they help graduates with job placement. I just saw another commercial from Charter College saying, "We work to put you to work." Isn't that false advertisement?? They dropped me from their Bachelor's degree program because I lost my job and couldn't afford it anymore.

So basically they dumped me and did NOT assist me with job placement. I am still sitting here, 4 years later, a Associate's degree in business, on the unemployment line.

My credit is screwed and a degree that is basically useless because of this school. Exactly, A WASTE!!

Oh man...would I jump on that...Here is my copy pasted review I wrote. WASTE.

OF. TIME. If you have any alternative do NOT go to this school, saying the education is sub-par is being polite. It is a business, they have one goal and one goal only...to get your money.

I went through their MA program as they did not have HVAC yet, and pretty much completed it sans the externship. I learned NOTHING that I did not already know save for how to take a BP, which you can do that on YT, which seems to be their number one go to for education material. Switching to the HVAC program was more of the same, but even less professional, they rushed to get it so they get bodies in the chairs and dollars in their accounts. very FEW of any of their graduates actually get placed in a job by them, sure they will help with resumes and interview tips.

They also force you take classes that have absolutely no bearing on what you go to school for (at least the MA and HVAC program) This is where they got me. I did not do well in those pointless classes..because pointless classes, and because of that they forced me to divulge VERY personal reasons as to why asking for documentation (which was provided only to be asked to provide the same documentation again) all for nothing. I am absolutely LIVID with the treatment I received and the lack of consideration and felt like nothing more than a paycheck to them..The general mood seemed to be reflected by the other students. Horrible quality "video lectures" Along with more typos and grammar mistakes in their material than any "professional" school should allow...My advice...if you think going to school in a strip mall is just peachy...maybe make another choice..Most of the certs you would need for the jobs, you can get online, on your own for far less than what the school charges...Dont waste your time, or your money, I wasted over a year there.

There are far better options.

They cant even seem to keep instructors around long enough, its just awful. I wish I had actually read the reviews before I went.

I would join this lawsuit too. I dropped out for the school was a scam.

They sold my debt to a collection agency and I cannot get it disputed. They are a scam!!!

I am in the same boat. I would like to get a petition going of everyone lied to by Charter College and attempt to have our tuitions reimbursed for those of us that received a degree that iant recognized or for those lied to during the enrollment process.

Is anyone doimg this already? If not why don't we start?

And if you had read what I said, I said I had VERY LITTLE help in finding a job, the job leads I had were 40+ miles away. Not to mention I was looking for jobs on my own! So maybe you should read before posting rude comments.

I would love to join a law suit and try to get some or all of money back! Charter College is a joke! I cannot get a job in my field, and am now stuck with over $20,000 in student loans!

I completely agree with you. All together I owe over $10,000 in student loans.

And I still work at the same place from when I started school and graduated; they did not help me in finding a job as well. I was hoping Charter College would help me in finding a good health degree so that I can get out of working at the job.

The person that was helping me find a new job had quit too. Now I am stuck working in a job that I don't like.

Really cause the "help" I received when struggling with a class was them telling me not to focus I my grades and that was the extent of the "help I received straight A's in every class except that one which was online and couldn't get any assistance or questions answered very vague assignments that you will get marked down if you didn't do everything they wanted except they don't tell you that they want it this way or that way they expect you to be a freaking psychic. And have hours to decipher the questions and hours more to find the and answer since their own materials they give you have different answers.

My whole graduation messedup since I should have got the presidents award but didn't and all because got the worst teacher possible. The harder and longer I worked on assignments the worse my grade got. Try to find someone to give you help or an answer? Impossible.

Throw you into an advanced coding class that is new to their program? Yes. Doctor your grades when their program fails? Yes.

Change everything they said when you started? Yes. That was my Bellingham campus experience. That is just the tip of the ice berg.

How abiut the lessons that were not in American English but from England and you just had to figure it out and figure out why the measurement were wrong and they had different info then what you were s uppossed to answer on your school work.

No this is not perfect grammar and no I don't really care after all the proper grammar that I used and it meant nothing.

Chose a different school save your self some time, frustration grief, sadness and a ton of $$.
